This is the story of Ma Cha Cha, an ordinary man who goes on an extraordinary adventure.

This story will consist of 10 chapters (not all are uploaded yet). Each page will have a link to a video where you can listen to the main text while you browse the rest of the page. Then there will be the main text in Chinese, followed by two buttons to show/hide the pinyin or English translation. Feel free to use these if you need help reading the story. After this, there will be a vocabulary section where we introduce new words used in the chapter. At the end there will be a vocabulary practice section where you can try to quiz yourself on what each character means.
Unfortunately the beginning of this story will introduce a lot of new vocabulary. 对不起! This is to build a base so we can have an exciting storyline. As we continue throughout this story, as well as on to future stories, the vocabulary lists for each chapter will get smaller and smaller and the focus will shift towards reviewing what we have learned already. Do not try to memorize all the vocabulary and be 100% perfect! Being able to understand about 70-80% of the story is the perfect time to move on. 加油!
